Infopro Digital and Gustave Roussy sign a partnership to help cancer survivors return to work

Infopro Digital has signed a three-year partnership in France with Gustave Roussy, the leading cancer treatment center in Europe and the fourth worldwide, to support a research program aimed at helping cancer survivors return to work.

For a number of years, Infopro Digital has been supporting associations that promote employability and return to work after a life-altering event.
Through this new partnership, Infopro Digital is backing an international team of researchers at Gustave Roussy who are conducting multiple studies on job retention and returning to work. These studies focus more particularly on the use of digital technologies to help individuals manage the long-term side effects of treatment (such as severe fatigue). The Gustave Roussy team is focusing its research on a sample of working women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The results will be extrapolated to all cancers and even to other diseases.

Infopro Digital’s support includes a financial contribution to the research as well as the production of an awareness manual for companies and organizations. This guide will provide key information and best practices to help colleagues and employers support employees who are undergoing treatment and facilitate their return to work after cancer.
The guide will be co-produced with a group of experts from Gustave Roussy (including researchers, an epidemiologist, a social worker, etc.) and the Infopro Digital teams, who will also be tasked with distributing it to companies and organizations.
