[Press Release] Infopro Digital acquires 1LoD, a conference platform for non-financial risk and compliance professionals in banking

Infopro Digital, a leading provider of information services to risk management professionals in financial services has acquired 1LoD, a conference platform that focuses on non-financial risk and compliance in banks. 1LoD was founded in 2017 by John Baskott and Paul Hodge, who have built a successful platform with events in London and New York.

Increasingly, financial institutions have been evolving their approaches to managing non-financial risks, which arise from their operations, processes and systems – this is an expanding field that includes conduct, financial crime, technological, cyber, and climate risks. 1LoD’s London and New York events – targeting non-financial risk professionals in the largest banks with operations in these centers – are highly complementary to Infopro Digital’s Risk Global division.

This acquisition will strengthen Infopro Digital’s position as the premier information platform for risk management professionals in the financial services sector through its market-leading Risk.net and Chartis Research brands. It will complement and enhance Infopro Digital’s event management capabilities and create new cross-selling opportunities. It will also enable Infopro Digital to offer a more comprehensive and diversified portfolio of information solutions to 1LoD’s customers.
