Infopro Digital and the Fédération Française de la Franchise sign a partnership agreement for the organisation of Franchise Expo Paris
The Infopro Digital Group and the Fédération Française de la Franchise have announced a partnership agreement for the organisation of the Franchise Expo Paris trade show. The Franchise Expo Paris show, owned by the Fédération Française de la Franchise, will be organised by Infopro Digital’s teams, starting with the 2023 edition and for the next five annual editions.
Franchise Expo Paris is the largest exhibition dedicated to franchising in Europe. This annual event brings together more than 25,000 visitors (franchise candidates, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers) with the managers of hundreds of French and international brands, and organisations who support business creators.
Guy Gras, President of the Fédération Française de la Franchise, said: “We are looking forward to working with the Infopro Digital teams. The unique ecosystem of brands and media of the group and their knowledge of our universe allows us to explore new ambitions. Franchise Expo Paris and the Fédération Française de la Franchise will benefit from the group’s expertise in content, data and technology to bring even more value to our community and benefit our members.”
For over 10 years, Infopro Digital has been a key player in the franchise sector, with brands including:
Toute la Franchise: the first French platform for franchising to connect franchisors and franchise candidates (600,000 unique visitors/month) and,
LSA: the leading professional media organisation in France on retail, with 1.2 million unique visitors per month and more than 300,000 contacts of decision-makers in the world of commerce and consumption.
Julien Elmaleh, CEO of the Infopro Digital group, said: “We are proud of the confidence that the Fédération Française de la Franchise has shown in us. By using the sector expertise of our teams, we will add value to the franchise model and continue the development of Franchise Expo Paris. Thanks to our presence in numerous professional communities, we want to offer maximum visibility to the show among a multitude of private and public organisations. We also aim to further engage the community of franchise professionals and to keep Franchise Expo Paris and its ecosystem alive throughout the year.”
The first strategic priority of this long-term partnership is to establish Franchise Expo Paris as a key event for entrepreneurship in France and to strengthen its international appeal. Digital technology and innovation are at the heart of future projects, with a focus on the industry’s challenges, to better support the transformations underway.
About the FFF:
A major player in the French economy, the Fédération Française de la Franchise has been the professional federation of franchisors and their franchisees since 1971. It represents the franchising model, an entrepreneurial model based on the transfer of know-how and the sharing of value. Its role is to promote, defend and perpetuate the franchise model, but also to federate its ecosystem and to create the tools and environment conducive to the development and performance of franchise networks. In 1981, the French Franchise Federation created the Franchise Expo Paris trade show, which has since become a major annual international franchise event.
In France, franchising represents 1,965 networks, 79,134 franchised points of sale, for more than 68.8 billion euros in sales. The activity generates 795,441 jobs (direct and indirect). In 2009, the FFF created the Franchise Academy, the first training organisation for franchising professions, whose offer is dedicated to future franchisees, but also to future and current franchisors.
